Our new pizza of the month is here for May!
Our new pizza of the month is here for May!
Our Pizza of the month is here! It is a special one, in support of two great local men who are doing a long walk home. Dom and Alfie who are PETER favourites, and are walking from Loughborough to China, in support of the Baca Charity. We’re donating £1 from every pizza of the month to the charity, eating pizza and giving to charity has never been so easy!
It’s finally here! Delivery for Loughborough is coming!
We’re launching the service on the 25th Nov – so check back for the links and menu and be the first to get a delivery of PETER to your door 🙂
If you’ve battled your way through exams, essays, reports, projects and dissertations, you will no doubt be very excited that it’s all finally over and graduation is here. Besides planning what you’re going to be doing next, you most certainly need to soak up the fact you’ve made it to the end and celebrate!
Here at Peter Pizzeria we want to enjoy your graduation with you. Whether you fancy coming to our Loughborough home or a new Leicester base, we will spoil you rotten with our legendary pizzas and tasty treats.
If you decide to come for a graduation lunch or a dinner visit we are hosting both, so instead of a boring traditional meal why not inspire your party and celebrate Peter style with pizza! Don’t forget we don’t just do pizzas we have a whole host of other scrumptious options on our menus too, so there will be plenty of our delicious items to please whoever joins in the festivities!
If you do fancy visiting us whether it is with your relatives or your fellow class mates, make sure you give us a call to book your party in. We are currently taking bookings so to avoid disappointment make sure you let us know soon….
Of course as it’s a celebration we recommend the ultimate indulgence of our mouth-watering Peterella. If you haven’t tried it, it’s definitely a graduation must!
It’ll come as no surprise that we love pizza. That is what we at Peter are all about; it’s who we are, it’s something we feel very passionate about and well, it’s quite obvious really. I mean our pizzas are true Italian, full of flavour and topped with deliciousness, so what’s not to love? But yes, we know pizza, but we also know not everyone wants a pizza all the time.
At lunch when you’re popping out for a bite to eat with a work colleague, or having a catch up with a friend, sometimes you might not want a huge pizza. With this in mind we have decided to give you another lunchtime option, introducing the Peter panini. It’s the perfect partner at lunch, created by our Italian chefs who have combined the perfect mouth-watering flavours.
We may appear biased about it but we actually tested it before the launch. We invited local lifestyle bloggers, to come in and join us for lunch whilst trying out all the flavours of our potential paninis. If anyone is going to give you, to the point feedback it’s a blogger! The outcome? We got big thumbs up from them and now we’ve finally launched it in both our Loughborough and Leicester sites.
We like a good theme; we never do anything by halves so it’ll come as no surprise that our panini names have a story behind them.
It’s named after the home of Milan football team and it seemed only right to name a panini after one of our biggest personal passions.
Our grandad once had a clever dog called, think of me. The intelligent canine would protect him from the authorities, at a time when people smuggled in tobacco for cigarettes. Such a loyal companion grandad would simply shout, ‘think of me!’ and the dog would chase off any unwelcome visitors.
This is representative of the film starring Robert Saviano, whose story unravels in Naples with his organised crime activity. Now, we’re not condoning crime in anyway but this is a big part of our Italian history – plus what Italian gangster film have you ever watched that didn’t have meatballs or sausage in sauce as a food choice?!
Another cheeky football reference with one of our favourite football stars, Gonzalo Higuian.
Last but not least we couldn’t have a panini without mentioning Mario and Luigi, who together are the Mario Bros! One of favourite games to be played on the legendary Nintendo Snes, it’s now a major gaming classic and a firm favourite with us.
What do you think? Sounding tasty? Fancy some lunch? There is certainly something for everyone. We accept lunchtime walks in so if you’re feeling spontaneous today, why not come in and see us for a Peter panini.

You may not realise it, but the (perhaps surprisingly) iconic Leicester Comedy Festival has been around for over 20 years. What started out as a small local festival back in 1994 has become a major attraction for the culturally diverse City of Leicester. The popularity of the annual event has risen so much that it now boasts an audience of over 60k! The Guardian even deems it worthy of being one of the top 5 Comedy Festivals in the UK. Not bad hey?!
It’s pretty obvious what we are getting at in this post as the title gives it away, but if you hadn’t guessed it, we are excited to announce that Peter Pizzeria Leicester is joining the comedy festival venue map as a host to their spectacular acts!
From Russell Howard to The Mighty Boosh, Leicester has seen a wide range of familiar comics grace the myriad stages, but this year is set to be bigger and better, with over 780 events in more than 60 venues across Leicestershire and Rutland! The festival organised by Dave, (comedy TV channel) runs from the 3rd – 21st February with a variety of events, street acts, workshops, and exclusive gatherings such as Q&A’s with Johnny Vegas and Nicholas Parsons, The UK Pun Championships, Odd Couples and the crowning of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year award for 2016. This is quite an honour for us to be part of, our pizza-y flag planted firmly on the festival map, especially since we are still a baby in terms of venues in Leicester.
We have 36 acts performing at Peter Pizzeria Leicester throughout the February festival, with a variety of male and female solo comedians, dynamic duos, the more established acts… and of course the ones to watch. But we can’t think of anything better than coming to the Leicester Comedy Festival and being surrounded by tasty true Italian pizza… It’s going to be epic! Don’t forget that as the majority of our performances start around a meal time you can either take advantage of our lunch time Panini menu, or make an evening of it and opt for a classic pizza. Fancy a full belly and a chuckle? Course you do! #Winning!
Peter Pizzeria is the ideal setting for the Leicester Comedy Festival with its quirky personality and mesmerizing attention to décor detail. It’s even kicking off the festival on the 3rd February with the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award winner for Best Newcomer 2015, the very talented, Sofie Hagen.
To top off our amazing line up tickets start from as little as £7.50 and they’re on sale now!
Make sure you keep regularly checking our Twitter account for any updates on who will be joining us throughout the comedy festival, and have a look to grab your tickets before they sell out. Come celebrate Leicester Comedy Festival with us at Peter Pizzeria. And remember, if you don’t join us, the joke’s on you!! #boomtish
